Video Production: Digital Movie Making
Course Description:
In this program, participants will use video editing software to create a narrative film.
The youth participants will reflect on a real or imagined moment of conflict as inspiration
for their work. Facilitators will help youth employ media tools to translate their ideas into
a compelling story that captures real feelings and emotions
Participants will use software to create a short documentary. Working in teams, young
people will explore the untold story of an individual they know and create a media piece
to share that story. The adult facilitator will help teams make choices about project
content and guide them in utilizing media tools to effectively communicate their ideas
and tell the stories in a unique and personal way
*Participants have the option of 2 final projects in this curriculum.
