2-Day Youth Media Boot Camp

Day 1:

December 3, 2014 kicked off the start of our two day media boot camp at the school gym of WILDER'S PREPARATORY ACADEMY. After formal introductions we went right into the nitty gritty of video production. How does video production work? Who does what? How is video beneficial for me? These are few of the many questions we answered throughout that day. In addition to the spoken presentation students were also able to access supplementary information in their follow-along packet.
Here are a few of the captured moments from Day 1!
Day 2:

On December 4, 2014 we brought in the students to experience a day of production at AMG Studios. After self producing their own content on Day 1 the children of WILDER'S PREPARATORY ACADEMY now had a chance to become true film makers. The students circulated between 3 stations that covered all the basics from additional Pre-Production (Creative Brainstorming - Script Writing and Talent Casting - Story Board and Shot List - Location Scouting and Crew Scheduling), to Technical Production (On Location/Studio Production, management and operation of cameras, crew, talent, lighting and sound), to  Post-Production (Clip Logging, Video Editing, and Colorizing - Audio Mix and Sweetening - Title and Graphic Work - Post Production Management). As things got underway we saw how excited the kids became as their project went from the developmental stage to a finished product.
Here are a few of the captured moments from Day 2! Plus the finished video projects
